World’s First Childfree Magazine

Anyone that knows me, knows when I set to mind to something, I am a force to be reckoned with.

That is why I am so excited about bringing the world’s first Childfree Magazine to life.

My Mission:  To unite a global childfree community with a focus on lifestyle, issues, sharing real-life stories, and giving childfree people a voice and a sense of belonging in a like-minded community.

As the author of A Childfree Happily Ever After and founder of the Childfree Choices Program, my core message is around choice and my goal with everything I do is to change the dialogue in society from one of judgment and criticism to support and acceptance for us all.

Why I am creating this magazine?

It’s time we had our own voice in the media. Most media stories and magazines are pronatalist and put motherhood on a pedestal. Covers of magazine celebrate women being pregnant, promote being a mum as the ultimate gift you can have, and share unrealistic stories that do not accurately portray women in society.

So, I want to change that. Ambitious – yes! Crazy – maybe! But if we don’t all stand together and do our part to create change, then things won’t change.

This magazine is for YOU! It is your magazine and will share your voices, concerns & issues no matter where you are in the world. It will share advice, feature stories you can relate to, open your mind, share experiences, and share real-life childfree people breaking down barriers.

It will be a positive, uplifting, spirited magazine that aims to support, share, and encourage.

However, in order to make it happen, I have one very big hurdle and this is where I really need your help.

The Go Fund Me Campaign

I have set up a Go Fund Me campaign. Even though it is a digital magazine it still requires technology, design, photography, editing, marketing, and more. If you would like to see it as a reality, then I need your help. The goal is to get 500 childfree people to donate $10AU each by the end of October, which is an achievable and fair goal. Your donation gets you a priority copy of the first edition before anyone else sees it.

Also note: I am making no money from this and volunteering my time between my other businesses, to hopefully make it happen.
