Worldwide, there are 132 million girls not in school.
Lack of education equals a lack of choices and knowledge to create the best life possible. Barriers to girl’s education such as poverty, child marriage and gender based violence, means that only 66 per cent of countries have achieved gender parity in primary education.
The Choice Movement wants to impact and create real change, particularly in poorer countries where access to education is limited.
The goal is to collaborate with existing organisations that operate in these countries and have access to existing communities and systems. These partnerships are vital in being able to reach girls and young women, to help them understand they are allowed to make life choices for their own bodies and lives.
