As a childfree community we are well versed in the challenges and issues we face. Most content is focused on these conversations within our childfree community, but it needs to extend much further afield. To get real change, we need to be having bigger conversations outside the childfree community.

Tanya is the author of Amazon’s #1 best-selling book A Childfree Happily Ever After, founder of Childfree Magazine, and is pioneering education programs and workshops to support the childfree community. She is a passionate advocate for choice and is proactively growing a global Choice Movement. Laura has been an internationally known expert on the childfree choice for more than 20 years. Dr. Amy Blackstone is Professor of Sociology and the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine, USA. Her book Childfree by Choice (Dutton, 2019) offers a definitive investigation into the history and current growing movement of adults choosing to forgo parenthood: what it means for our society, economy, environment, perceived gender roles, and legacies. Dr. Blackstone’s research on the childfree choice has been featured in New York Times, Washington Post, TIME, CNN, The Atlantic, BBC, Al Jazeera, TODAY, Good Morning America, National Public Radio, and other national and international outlets. A married bird mom, Raphie is the host of ‘not a momma life’ podcast for uplifting childfree humans with positive and empowering episodes.

Margaret O’Connor is a counsellor and psychotherapist in Ireland. She runs the ‘Are Kids For Me’ specialist service for people who need support making the decision to have children or not, and to live their best childfree life.
